Non-Graduated Pastettes (Pasteur or plastic pipettes)

The very first pastette, from the non-graduated range, is the standard pastette.
Darwin postulated that all life is descended from an original species from ancient times. In fact, probably all organic beings on the planet have descended from a single primordial life form. The same is true of our range of Pasteur Pipettes. The very first, from the non-graduated range, is the standard pastette.

Non-Graduated Pastettes can be used for a wide variety of laboratory tasks

These include:

  • Transferring Supernatant
  • Adding reagents/chemicals
  • Extracting samples

Specialist designs provide pipettes for many applications from tissue culture to mononuclear separation and blood testing:

  • Cell Saver for tissue culture
  • Maxi for larger volumes
  • Jumbo and 9 inch for deep vessels

Standard     Medi     Maxi     Long Reach     Mayday     Cell Saver     3 Inch

Virtually every Pastette in the range has a customer application story behind it.

An example in the non-graduated range is the 3 inch pipette (LW4273). This was the result of requests for handling very small volumes for oil immersion microscopy and similar applications.

There are even some Pastettes named after the customer they were developed for. The Mayday pipette (LW4141) was developed for the Mayday Clinic (now hospital) who required a larger volume version of the Medi pipette.
